So let us get started and iron out the kinks to make your splits slick; no more rotation of the back leg. Open legs yes but no rotation in the pelvis. We want that pelvis Square. To have smoking splits you've got to exclusively rotate that pelvis... it will be a great asset to the bedroom too. Helping you to isolate the pelvis for more strong power feels and control. In splits your pelvis should be aligned forward not towards the back leg. The middle part of the thigh may make more contact with the ground than the top of the thigh. This means you are in slight external rotation. We like that as long as your pelvis is square, because external rotation can actually be protective as it is the biases for the hip flexor not the ligaments. Well that's enough geek stuff.
